About Bob
Bob Bourgault, or “Mr. B.” as he is affectionately known, has been an educator for more than 35 years. He has held positions as a teacher, counselor, administrator, and university professor. While all of these positions are certainly important, what makes Bob’s career exceptional, is his undying passion for growing great kids. To Bob, this passion began at home with his own family.
Bob and his bride Susie have seven children and five grandchildren. When people hear Bob speak about the family he adores, they are immediately struck by the genuine love and admiration he has for them. It is this love, this absolute desire to grow great kids in his own life, that has inspired Bob’s ongoing studies about the brain, child development, and the most effective means of translating this into education, parenting, and leadership development.

In 2012, Bob was named Executive Director of Almond Acres Charter Academy. The school adopted his “Formation of Learning Framework” as the principle philosophy of the school. This philosophy affirms, stretches, and celebrates the unique capacity of every learner. Bob believes that each child can develop positive and productive habits that will ultimately grow them into great leaders and terrific citizens.
